The laboratory will serve not only to the needs of client’s hardening room of HTS BB Ltd. but also for the analysis of materials of the general public.

- Complex preparation of metallographic samples for light microscopy.
- Analysis of chemist of metal materials with iron dies.
- The evaluation of material after heat treatment and chemical-heat treatment.
- The measurement of hardness process in layers.
- Determination of the depth of carburizing, or steel nitration.
- Quantitative phase analysis – assessment of part of structural components, size, number.
- Obtaining of knowledge about kind and character of micro- and macrostructure of metal and non-metal material.
- Photographic documentation of macro- and microstructure (black and white, colorful, reading with CCD video camera).
